LEGACY DOCS
SHARON

Sharon Greene was a vibrant woman who grew up in Brooklyn. She held on to her New York roots through a move to California where she became a vivacious educator, a thoughtful parent and a legendary prankster.
She was also my mother-in-law. In 2010 she was diagnosed with cancer. A short time after that she shared with me the story about the time she went to see one of the most famous concerts ever – the Beatles at Shea. She still had the $5.75 ticket stub, the program and notes she took during the show.
It was amazing to watch this woman turn into a 14-year-old girl as she gushed about her crush on John Lennon. I shot it with a phone and flip cam. I've got better equipment now but when it comes time to introduce my infant son to his Nana I don’t think I’ll find a better story.
Too often these stories pass on with our loved ones. But they don't have to. They can be preserved on a private site.
Sharon passed in 2015. But her story is here forever - for my sons, for their kids, for all of Sharon’s friends and family.
That’s the point of Legacy Docs. Tell a story. Relive a moment. Share your legacy.
